Play-In Stage

It features two double-elimination format (GLS). Each group has four teams, and the top two of each group advance to the Group Stage. At the moment of writing, this stage is still going on, and results are getting updated continuously. Here are the current standings.

Group A Results Total W-L Points
eSuba 1 – 0 19-16 +3
ONYX 1 – 0 16-11 +5

Group B Results Total W-L Points

Group Stage

The Group Stage will again be in a double-elimination format. There will be two groups of four teams each. Out of those eight teams, the latter from each group will be eliminated. The remaining six will proceed to the Playoffs in the following way:

  • Group stage winners advance to the Semifinals;
  • Group stage runners-up advance to the Quarterfinals in the Upper Bracket;
  • Group stage 3rd place teams advance to the Quarterfinals in the Lower Bracket.

Playoffs are organized in a single-elimination bracket format, meaning that there will be only one chance for every team that reaches this stage to reach the Grand Final. All series will be bo3, except the Grand Final, which will be, as tradition demands, a bo5. It will take place on November 21st.

Coverage and Broadcast Talent

The V4 event is covered by three official Twitch streams, each in a specific language: English, Hungarian and Russian. V4’s main Twitch channel is the one in charge of the English coverage, while esport1 and the official UCC League channel will focus, respectively, the other two languages and communities.

The English broadcast is hosted by James Banks, a renowned esports host and commentator with huge expertise in Counter-Strike Global Offensive, his main game. Alongside him, a decent variety of commentators and analysts such as kassad, natu, TheEternalJay, and Dweg are in charge of detailing the encounters.

For the Hungarian broadcast, talents are fewer but equally prepared. The desk is left to SpeeDy, while kolor, gabesson, and more will commentate and analyze the event.
