REPUBLEAGUE Season 3 Closed Qualifier: Overview

Counter-Strike is one of the most popular video games. The first game in this genre, a team-based shooter, was released in 1999. In its most popular version, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) is a bizarre phenomenon. It has stayed popular not only on the CSGO gambling websites but also on the Esports games review list despite competition from newer first-person shooters.

Everyone knew that the game was a forerunner in the structuring of competitions. Many people believe that e-sports have been around for decades, but this is not true. The games and their popularity were sparked by the dependability of internet connections.

No one could have expected that those who spend most of their time at their computers would be referred to as athletes. The popularity of esports has continued to rise. CSGO is officially accessible to the public, and what better way to celebrate is to establish a team and begin competing in CSGO competitions and tournaments.

In CSGO and other esports games, there are five tiers of competitive level. The higher tier (1-2) a team belongs to, the more they are competitive and have a lot of experiences. Thus, those in lower-tier (3-3) tournaments are more eager to win and improve.

One of the upcoming Tier-2 tournaments is the REPUBLEAGUE Season 3 Close Qualifier which is an online European tournament organized by REPUBLEAGUE which will commence on February 28 to March 8, 2023. The tournament will not only showcase the different talents from sixteen teams but also will help other teams be recognized, especially if they will be part of the top eight. The eight teams will proceed directly to the Main Swiss stage.

REPUBLEAGUE Season 3

5 Notable Teams to Watch in REPUBLEAGUE Season 3 Closed Qualifier

In CSGO, it is difficult for any fan or analyst to predict what team will win in a tournament because the game is in a competitive mode where two teams of five are pitted against each other in a 30-round contest. The bomb timer is 40 seconds, and the round timer is 1 minute 55 seconds. Except at halftime, it is not feasible to transfer sides throughout the game. The game approaches intermission after 15 rounds, and the two teams will switch sides.

The game is won by the first side to score 16 points. The match will result in a tie if both teams score a total of 15 points by the end of the 30th round. When the match is over, if the player has a rank, it will be revealed to all players. If one team surrenders to the other, a game might be called off early. So, here are five notable teams to look at in REPUBLEAGUE Season 3 Closed Qualifier:

Apeks

Apeks is a Norwegian esports organization that was previously known as Kingpins Esports and temp.no. Their team has been performing well in the previous tournaments they have joined. One of their recent highlights is finishing 2nd place last February 2, 2023, of Pinnacle Winter Series #1, an online A-Tier tournament.

Sprout

Rush B Esport, a Berlin-based Esports corporation, owns Sprout, a German Esports organization. The team looks confident about winning the upcoming REPUBLEAGUE Season 3 Closed Qualifier as they have won all their five previous tournaments. And since 2018, the team has never finished any 3rd place and below.

ENCE

The Finnish Esports organization ENCE (previously ENCE eSports) was founded in 2013. And most of the games they are into, CSGO, Hearthstone, PUBG, and Starcraft II, all of their active players are Finnish. They placed 1st in their last tournament, BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 European Showdown, and received $37,500. ENCE looks conditioned with the upcoming REPUBLEAGUE Season 3 Closed Qualifier as they have faced a lot of Tier-1 teams in the past where they have earned a lot of knowledge and experience.

forZe

forZe is a professional gaming organization based in Russia that was founded last September 2001. The team’s resume is overwhelming as they have won 9 out of 10 of their recent tournaments. They gained a lot of fans and recognitions from the CSGO community after being 1st place last December 5, 2021, in the Exeedme Revolution and earned $44,599.

SINNERS Esports

SINNERS Esports is a professional esports group based in the Czech Republic. Unlike team forZe, SINNERS Esports won 8 out of 10 of their previous tournaments, making them a high contender for the upcoming REPUBLEAGUE Season 3 Closed Qualifier.
