PGL Major Stockholm 2023 Overview

The PGL Major Stockholm 2023, otherwise called Stockholm 2023 or PGL Major 2023, will be the sixteenth Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Major Championship. It will be held from October 26 to November 7, 2023, in Stockholm, Sweden. 24 groups will qualify through regional major rankings (RMR). It includes a $2,000,000 prize pool, an ascent from the $1,000,000 of past Majors because of the shortfall of offline tournaments amid the COVID-19 pandemic. It will be the subsequent Major facilitated by the Romanian-based association PGL, after PGL Major: Kraków 2017.

The PGL Major Stockholm 2023 will start with the Challengers Stage, with eight out of the 16 groups can get the chance to advance to the Legends Stage. Mechanics go with half of the groups disposed of and the main eight will play at the end of the season games at the Avicii Arena in Stockholm.

PGL Major Stockholm 2023 Stages and Schedule

Every one of the Major stages in PGL Major Stockholm 2023 will happen within four days, with the Challengers and Legends Stages working out with no crowd at the Annexet sports scene and the Champions making a beeline for the Avicii Arena, where a single-elimination playoff section will decide the victor of the principal CS:GO Major in more than two years.

The sixteen groups participating in the PGL Major Stockholm 2023 Challengers and Legends Stages will fight through a Swiss framework, which will highlight best-of-one counterparts for the opening and mid matches, and change to best-of-three for any passing or disposal matches.

As a feature of Valve’s arrangement to diminish the effect of Majors on the competition schedule and to appropriately squeeze the timetable of each stage into four days, two rounds will be played right off the bat, and a B stream will be in action for everything except the last three matches of each stage in the PGL Major Stockholm 2023.

The Challengers will highlight 8 groups from Europe, 2 from North America, 3 from CIS, and one from everyone of Oceania, South America, and China, while the Legends Stage will comprise of 3 groups from North America, 3 groups from Europe, and two from CIS.
